La luz dentro de nosotros está ahí como potencial. 
La oscuridad dentro de nosotros está ahí como potencial. 
Más allá de la luz y la oscuridad está la Realidad que somos. 
Ese potencial del lado oscuro solo puede intimidar 
a la idea que tienes de quién eres. 
No puede infestar ni afectar a tu verdadero Ser. 
Lo que eres no puede ser poseído; 
lo que piensas que eres podría serlo, 
porque eso es débil, no es estable. 
Es aquí donde nos volvemos psicológicamente débiles. 
Es aquí donde vive el miedo, en donde la resistencia prospera, 
de donde brotan la inseguridad, el orgullo y la arrogancia. 
Estas fuerzas jugarán en la dimensión de la consciencia
que es su autorretrato como persona. 
A medida que tu mente continúa expandiéndose 
más allá del yo psicológico y limitado 
de regreso al brillo del verdadero Ser 
-en esta travesía- puede presentarse 
la resistencia más feroz. Por extraño que parezca, 
es justo después de que se despierte en el interior
una comprensión brillante y bella 
cuando nuestros miedos más profundos se manifiestan. 
En ese momento, puede que olvides
que estos no son más que nubes que pasan: 
pero, observa que tú mismo, 
el testigo de todo, permanece inmóvil.

The light within us is there as a potential.
The darkness within us is there as a potential.
Beyond light and darkness is the Reality that we are.
That dark sided potential can only intimidate
the idea you have of who you are.
It cannot infest or affect your true Self.
What you are cannot be possessed;
what you think you are could be,
for that is weak, not stable.
This is where we become psychologically weak.
This is where fear lives, where resistance thrives,
where insecurity, pride and arrogance sprout from.
These forces will play in the aspect of consciousness
that is its self-portrait as a person.
As your mind continues expanding
beyond the limited, psychological self
back into the brightness of the true Self
—in this crossing over—the fiercest resistance
will likely come. Strange as it may seem,
it is just after a bright and beautiful insight
awakens within that our deepest fears manifest.
In the moment, you may forget
these are merely clouds passing:
but observe that yourself,
the witness of all, is unmoving.
